Role Summary:

Under the general supervision of the IT Core Applications Manager/Team Leader, the IT Core Systems Analyst I will ensure smooth and effective operations of the credit union’s information and operating systems, hardware and software, training and support. Review quality of output and scrutinize causes of reruns, rejects, and/or delays. Maintain and modify the production schedule as required by the business units.

 

What You Will Be Doing:

  1. Track and follow credit union’s processing requirements using system scheduler – currently Automic
  2. Follow credit union’s processing requirements for ACH, Share Drafts, Certificates, Visa Credit Card cycles orders, month end, quarter end, posting dividends, and payrolls
  3. Using FTP protocol, ensure credit union’s vendor files are sent and received according to specifications
  4. Provide general support for other technology or data processing issues as instructed
  5. Create and maintain technical documentation of back-office procedures
  6. Attend credit union training sessions, conferences, or seminars as approved by supervisor
  7. Maintain awareness of policies and regulations related to duties and responsibilities
  8. Keep management and operational areas informed about data processing service interruptions. Keep interruptions to a minimum and schedule down time during off-peak time hours
  9. Maintain all hardware in working order, ensuring that all systems are functioning within established parameters.
  10. Complete assigned period-end processing and reports on schedule, with zero errors
  11. Demonstrate support of corporate values, mission and vision. Perform job duties within these standards and in accordance with the guidelines of our bylaws and regulations
  12. Maintain and protect all sensitive data using the highest standard of confidentiality and professionalism.
  13. Must understand and perform Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) functions as applicable to job responsibilities
  14. Perform other related duties as assigned

 

About You:

  1. Participate and support a team environment
  2. Ability to organize, prioritize and respond simultaneously to multiple tasks and requests
  3. Ability to analyze and report information and recommend achievable process improvements
  4. Ability to effectively communicate ideas and information, both orally and in writing
  5. Ability to work a flexible schedule if needed (after hours or weekends)
  6. Ability to quickly grasp and adapt to changes in technology, evolving and new technologies.
  7. Familiarity with secured file movement

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

  1. Associate degree in Information Technology or completion of a specialized IT program from a business or trade school; or equivalent experience managing software in the financial industry
  2. One (1) to three (3) years of related Financial Industry experience utilizing or managing software
  3. Experience with WinSCP, PGPEncrypt, Automic, and Python is preferred.
  4. Proficiency with standard office equipment, MS Office and Outlook software
  5. Travel required to complete credit union training and approved professional development.
