HFA is looking for a seasoned Electrical Designer ready to step into a leadership role within a fast-growing, employee-owned firm that’s redefining excellence in building design and construction. What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead and mentor a small team of electrical designers (80% team management / 20% design).
Oversee a wide range of projects including adaptive reuse, ground-up construction, and capital improvements for locations nationwide.
Ensure design excellence through rigorous quality control and collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams.
Work under a licensed PE and play a key role in project delivery and client satisfaction.

You’re a Fit If You:
Have solid experience in electrical power and lighting design for commercial buildings.
Know your way around Revit.
Are confident performing fault current calculations and creating 1-Line diagrams.
Can apply NEC standards with minimal supervision and have a working knowledge of energy codes.
Are ready to step into a leadership position and help develop others.
Bonus points if you’ve handled specs, photometric calcs, or have experience collaborating with architects, structural and mechanical engineers.
