How You Will Contribute:
As a Clinical Director, you will be responsible for the clinical and dietary functions of Selah House and clinical operations of the facility. You will manage the clinical staff and ensure the optimal care of clients seeking longer-term behavioral health services provided by Selah House Treatment Center for Eating Disorders.
Relationships and Contacts
Within the organization: Maintains frequent and close working relationships facility leadership, nursing, clinical and direct care team members.
Outside the organization: May initiate and maintain working relationships with clinical providers, clients and families, referral partners and vendors, as needed and directed.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and professional guidance to clients and referring professionals seeking longer-term behavioral health services.
- Supervises and manages other licensed clinicians.
- Ensure programming is defined, coordinated, staffed and delivered in a manner that provides high quality care for Selah House clients.
- Hire, coach and develop clinical staff.
- Oversee weekly treatment team meetings to coordinate care, communicate client needs and progress, and ensure consistent and quality care.
- Provide ongoing training to all staff members to advance treatment skills, cultural sensitivity and compliance with licensure and accreditation standards.
- Provide oversight of utilization review process with personal involvement in difficult cases.
- Maintain client caseload and act as primary therapist for assigned clients, to include individual and family therapy.
- Responsible for managing and maintaining CARF accreditation and providing oversight to other staff to maintain their compliance
- Represents Selah House at local, regional and national eating disorder-oriented events.
- Works closely with business office and direct care support staff.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications related to Selah House Mission and population.
