We are a Pay Per Visit compensation model. Pay Per Visit rates range from $30/visit - $40/visit commensurate with experience and depending on type of visit.  The compensation reflected on this posting is an estimate of yearly compensation.

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will provide direct nursing care to clients as prescribed by the physician, under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). You will be responsible for providing nursing skills in accordance with the plan of treatment, observing and reporting changes in the patient's condition, and completing accurate and relevant clinical notes. You will also assist the patient with the activities of daily living and facilitate their effort toward self-sufficiency and independence.

Qualifications for the position include:
Â
- LVN/LPN-licensed to practice in the state of practice and in good standing.
- Graduate of an approved school of practical/vocational nursing.
- One (1) year experience as a professional nurse in an acute setting.
- Possesses and maintains current CPR certification (BLS required).
- Possess and maintains a valid driver’s license.
- Possess and maintains an automobile that is insured in accordance with LORIAN requirements.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given in the patients’ electronic medical record.
- Possesses excellent observation, good nursing judgment, and good oral and written communication skills.
- Is self-directing and has the ability to work with little direct supervision.
- Ability to work with adults (18 years and older), demonstrating tact and patience.
- Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling the role obligations.
- Participates in in-service education programs and clinical meetings.
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
- Maintains confidential patient records in accordance with privacy and security standards of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other applicable state laws.
