Lorian Health is currently seeking a Full-Time Certified Home Health Aide to join our team of skilled professionals in Orange County.

We are a pay per visit compensation model that ranges from $15 - $30 per visit, commensurate with experience and depending on the type of visit. The compensation reflected on this posting is an estimate of hourly compensation.

 

Responsibilities of the role

include performing personal care services, observing patients, reporting observations, and documenting care performed. The ideal candidate will possess excellent nursing judgment, oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work with little direct supervision.

Qualifications for the position include:

 

  • meeting educational/experience requirements outlined in the laws of licensure states
  • being certified/licensed CHHA and in good standing within the state currently working in according to clinical type
  • possessing and maintaining current CPR certification (BLS required),
  • possessing and maintaining a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance,
  • having the ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given in the patients’ electronic medical record.

 

Please note that the HHA will not function in any manner viewed as the practice of nursing according to the State’s Nursing Practice Act. Specifically, the HHA will not administer medications, take physician’s orders, or perform procedures requiring the training, knowledge, and skill of a nurse, specifically sterile techniques.
