Per Diem Home Health Speech Therapist (SLP)-San Diego County

We are seeking a Per Diem Speech Therapist (SLP) to provide care to our patients..

This position is a Pay per visit compensation model.
Pay per visit ranges from $80- $110/visit, commensurate with experience and depending on type of visit.

As a Home Health Speech Therapist, you will provide speech program assessment, evaluation, direction, and care to patients in their home as prescribed by the attending physician. You will conduct appropriate evaluations, assess the home environment, and identify equipment needs relative to speech/language function. You will also administer speech therapy programs, observe, record, and report information on the patient's condition, and teach other health personnel when appropriate.

We are seeking a candidate who is self-directing, flexible, and cooperative in fulfilling the role obligations. The ability to work with adults (18 years and older) while demonstrating tact and patience is a must. Candidates must also be able to present a pre-employment physical, free from health conditions that would interfere with the employee's ability to perform assigned duties and be able to pass a pre-employment Protein Purified Derivative (PPD) tuberculin skin test.

In this role, you will spend your time conducting evaluations, providing treatment, and administering speech therapy programs to patients in their homes. You will also maintain accurate and relevant clinical notes regarding patients/clients' condition and care given in accordance with LORIAN policies and procedures.
