Position Overview

As the Remodel Construction Lead, you will oversee the day-to-day activities on residential remodel sites, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to BetterBath’s workmanship standards. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires construction expertise, strong organizational skills, and the ability to guide and inspire crews.

Key Responsibilities

Project Oversight

  • Install materials and supervise daily site operations
  • Coordinate with the Production Manager on scope, quality, and timelines
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations

Team Management

  • Lead and supervise crew members and subcontractors
  • Assign and monitor daily tasks
  • Provide direction, mentorship, and issue resolution

Quality Assurance

  • Monitor job progress to maintain high-quality results
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Resource Management

  • Track and manage tools, equipment, and materials
  • Source supplies within project budgets
  • Control waste and optimize resource use

Communication & Reporting

  • Keep clients, crews, and managers informed
  • Provide daily updates through project software
  • Support adjustments to scope as needed in partnership with the Production Manager
     

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and techniques: tile, framing, drywall, flooring, etc.
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents
  • Experience with construction management tools/software
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements: Lift up to 50 lbs with/without assistance, operate tools/equipment, and work in various weather conditions.
