BCBA Clinical Assistant

Job Description: The BCBA Clinical Assistant is responsible for supervising and maintaining their assigned clinic under the guidance of the Clinical Supervisor. This position oversees clinic staff and attends to issues at the designated clinic in the absence of the Clinical Supervisor. This includes assisting with behavior assessments, treatment plan development, data analysis, and providing training to RBTs and other staff while adhering to ethical guidelines and maintaining client confidentiality.

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Supervise staff when the Clinical Supervisor is not present. 
  • Assist the Clinical Supervisor in making clinic specific checklists.
  • Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of clinic.
  • Assist therapists and clients, as needed. 
  • Model MBT leadership qualities (Positive Attitude, Work Ethic, Teachability, Inclusion). 
  • Train and follow-up when new hires are present at clinic, communicate performance to the Clinical Supervisor. 
  • Complete and oversee opening/closing duties. 
  • Assist Clinical Supervisor with any new tasks. 
  • Assist with communicating clinic news and happenings to employees. 
  • Mentor RBTs and new hires. 
  • Uphold ethical and professional standards within the MBT Clinics. 
  • Communicate services provided by the MBT clinics to the greater community.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education or a related field. 
  • Requires a minimum of 6-years’ experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Experience working with children with special needs or other behavioral disorders
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
  • CPR certified (or ability to obtain)
