QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE
- Undergraduate degree in public relations, communications, public affairs, marketing, advertising, business, journalism, hospitality or similar field required.
- 5+ years of PR experience with an agency and/or brand.
- Experience with tourism, travel, development, investments and Groups and Meetings media a plus.
- Experience with issues management and/or crisis response.
- Proven track-record of securing press coverage.
- Excellent written (AP Style), verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and a team player.
- Ability to be detail-oriented in a multi-tasking production environment.
- Urgency to meet deadlines.
- Must be able to provide writing samples.
- Occasional travel is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work for the Manager, Public Relations does require monitoring and engagement on weekends and during the evenings, with some business travel.
