Education, Experience and Competencies:
- Master’s degree in mental health counseling, clinical psychology, social work or other related field required.
- Licensure preferred.
- Minimum of one-year experience in the human service field working with adults, children, adolescents, and families to provide assessment, triage, and crisis intervention for mental health and substance abuse, including certification for hospitalization.
- Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) certification required; training available upon hire.
- Working knowledge of community resources and systems of care preferred
Certifications, Licenses Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and automobile insurance which meets Rhode Island minimum standards required, or the ability to obtain necessary transportation in order to perform the responsibilities/tasks of the job.
