MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Graduation from high school, supplemented by special training in Code Enforcement or an equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must obtain the minimum knowledge and experience needed upon accepting the position, as determined by Department Director, and obtain the Level 1 and Level 2 provisional certifications within 240 days of employment, as recognized and administered by the Florida Association of Code Enforcement (FACE).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OR STANDARDS REQUIRED
TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Physical Requirements: Must be physically able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment including a computer, calculator, copier, etc. Must be physically able to apply negligible amounts of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
