Description

Mark Miller Subaru is seeking a collaborative, driven, and brand-focused Marketing Manager to Tell our story. In this highly cross-functional role, you’ll plan and execute impactful activations, manage key external relationships, oversee in-store branding, and work closely with our creative and social agencies to tell the stories that bring our brand to life. This position is ideal for a natural connector who thrives at the intersection of community engagement, brand experience, and operational execution, someone who can confidently run a calendar, a campaign, and a conversation with equal skill.

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday with occasional nights and weekends for events.

Partnership & Community Engagement

  • Serve as the primary contact for all external partnerships, including Love Promise nonprofits, corporate sponsors, and local community organizations.
  • Identify and develop co-branded campaigns and activations that create shared value and enhance Mark Miller Subaru’s presence in the SLC community.
  • Actively manage relationships and help tell the story of our impact through recaps, testimonials, and visual storytelling in collaboration with our social agency.

Event & Activation Management

  • Plan, prepare, staff, and execute on-site and off-site events, including retail activations, Love Promise campaigns, and sponsor-driven activations.
  • Coordinate event staffing (volunteers and employees), assets, and logistics, ensuring every activation is well-executed and well-documented.
  • Coordinate content (photos, short-form video, recaps) for use in social media, press releases, and internal storytelling.

Brand Experience & POP Oversight

  • Ensure storefronts and showrooms reflect the Subaru brand and current campaigns through strategic use of POP, signage, and partner materials.
  • Manage both Subaru of America assets and custom displays to spotlight partners and campaigns, helping connect the physical space with our broader brand narrative.
  • Work with designers, vendors, and our social agency to maintain a cohesive and engaging visual identity across all touchpoints — digital and in-store.

Qualifications

  • Minimum BA/BS degree with a strong academic record and/or three years experience with charity partnerships, corporate partnerships, and event management
  • A successful track record in developing and implementing marketing strategies;
  • Innovative thinking, creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing requirements and technologies;
  • Entrepreneurial drive, high motivation, and goal-orientation ability to deliver to tight deadlines;
  • Excellent communication and outstanding writing skills;
  • Strong analytical and research skills;
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
  • The job requires someone with the physical ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds as necessary;
