Description

NCIA is seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Director of Development to lead and grow our fundraising efforts from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of philanthropy for an organization committed to transforming lives through education, vocational training, and community-based support.

We’re not looking for someone to maintain the status quo—we’re looking for a builder. A leader who can translate passion into partnerships and strategy into sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Development Plan
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with major donors and corporate partners
  • Launch and manage a Planned Giving Program
  • Lead fundraising events and donor engagement initiatives
  • Oversee donor communications, marketing, and stewardship efforts
  • Engage the Board in fundraising and giving

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive fundraising experience
  • Demonstrated success in securing major gifts, planned giving, and corporate sponsorships
  • Strong communication, relationship management, and project leadership skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and donor databases
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed
