The Opportunity

As a Strength Instructor at Chelsea Piers Fitness, you’ll coach dynamic, high-intensity classes that empower members to challenge themselves safely and effectively. Schedule: Part-Time; must have the flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule including weekend, holiday and early morning/midday/late evening weekday availability.
Compensation: $50 - $75 per hour, depending on experience
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead group strength and conditioning classes using free weights, functional equipment, and bodyweight training
- Create well-structured, progressive programs that focus on form, safety, and measurable improvement
- Educate members on technique, recovery, and long-term training principles
- Encourage participation across demographics and ability levels
- Collaborate with fitness leadership on programming and special events
