Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Energy Management, Petroleum Engineering, or related fields
- 3-7 years of relevant experience, ideally in:
- Oil and gas finance, accounting or reserves management, or
- Energy lending or reserve-based finance
- Strong Excel and data management skills (experience with Power Query, Power BI or SQL a plus)
- Experience managing large data sets and ensuring data quality / reconciliation across systems
- Strong understanding of oil and gas financials, production data and engineering report structure
- Excellent organizational skills – ability to track volumes of information at a detailed level
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to distill complex data into clear summaries for management
- Self-starter who can identify and implement process improvements independently
- Detail-focused, process-oriented, and proactive in organizing information
- Comfortable bridging engineering and financial data
- Works well in a small, high-performing, team where accuracy and accountability are critical thinking skills.
