Job Summary:

Rhinestahl CTS is seeking an experienced professional to assist in the creation of tariff mitigation processes to identify cost savings and establish new programs for an industry leading global company.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish a Duty Drawback Program for the US entities within the company
  • Coordinate the drawback program in conjunction with an external partner for the effective and efficient maintenance of the program.
  • Stay current on global trade compliance and other relevant topics and analyze for potential risk or savings opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement with product classifications, supply chain strategy, trade agreements, and other trade-related topics.
  • Report on savings, provide recommendations to the business, and manage new initiatives.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, international business or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years’ import/export experience
  • Experience with duty drawback program in the US
  • Experience in tariff mitigation strategies
  • Knowledge and understanding of temporary importing
  • Extensive experience in US Customs regulations
  • Extensive experience in US Customs compliance
  • Strong familiarity with goods classification, HS Codes
  • Experience with utilizing ACE Portal and other systems relating to US Customs
  • Capable of autonomous work, operating effectively with little supervision
  • Strong analytics and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with relevant software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Suite programs.

Preferred:

  • Experience in Global Trade
  • Familiarity with international customs compliance
  • Licensed customs broker
