Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform production line assembly and welding of mufflers and exhaust systems.
  • Responsible for quality craftsmanship and fabrication of exhaust components.
  • Perform visual product quality audit, manipulate product for visual check, ensures accurate selection of product by verifying parts received against a PTF.
  • Demonstrate job knowledge regarding location and identification of parts and numbering system.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop and its equipment and tools.
  • Performing other department duties as instructed by the department supervisor.

Qualifications

Experience, Skills and Education:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in exhaust fabrication, MIG welding and assembly.
  • Must be trained in MIG welding process.
  • Understand fixture assembly and process for welding.
  • Basic understanding of MIG welding machine set-up and adjustments.
  • Must be able to read a computer screen and have basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to follow verbal / written instructions correctly.

  • Must be punctual and dependable at adhering to scheduled work hours.
  • Must demonstrate enthusiasm and foster a strong work ethic, showing pride and a positive attitude.
  • Must be willing to learn and develop new skills to broaden capability.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform work safely, to maintain high standards of work quality and to keep work area clean and free from hazards is mandatory.
  • Must be able to read technical work instructions and effectively communicate about work status/output, including necessary work-related information and cross functional project updates, to supervisor and other stakeholders, in English.
  • Must be able to: Stand or Walk up to 10 Hours; Bend Neck and Waist 10 hours; Twist Neck and Waist 10 hours; Grasp with hands up to 10 hours; Fine manipulation up to 10 hours; Reaching or Pulling up to 10 hours; Lifting 0-35lbs up to 10 hours; Lifting 10-50 lbs up to 6 hours.

 

Work Location and Schedule Information

  • This is an onsite position located in Corona, CA; you must have reliable, daily transportation to and from our facility
  • We work a Monday-Thursday 4/10 schedule; our work hours are 4:00am-2:30pm
  • Our work environment contains machinery and may cause exposure to dust
