Position Summary:
We’re seeking enthusiastic and motivated students to work with the Ale-8-One team this summer through our Marketing and Sales Internship Program! As a paid intern, you will drive brand awareness, engage with customers, and encourage trial and adoption of our products through events, retailer relations, and direct interactions. This is a summer-long role from mid-May through the end of July, working 20-25 hours a week and frequent weekend work. The ideal candidate for this position should have strong communication skills, proficiency with social media, the proven ability to organize and execute events effectively, be adaptable, and have a passion for our brand mission.
Essential Functions of the Position:
- Event Management and Product Demos: Assist the brand activation manager in executing sampling events, product demos, and any other needed activities.
- Retailer Relationships and Sales Strategy: Collaborate with sales managers to develop relationships with key retailers and create sales strategies to increase sales of Ale-8-One products.
- Feedback Collection & Reporting: Collect and report on consumer feedback, engagement metrics, and event outcomes.
- Ensuring the event stockroom is clean and organized.
- Inspecting equipment for damage after use and checking it against an inventory list.
- Set up and break down the display area at each event. This includes pick-up and delivery of materials needed for display, icing down drinks, and creating an appealing display to be utilized in a sampling or promotional setting.
- Engage in other sales and marketing activities as needed and as time permits.
