Guest Service

Food Quality & Safety

  • Knowledge of and prior experience with food safety procedures, including safe temperatures at which ingredients must be kept and to which food must be prepared to avoid foodborne illness
  • Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
  • Follow recipes, including accurate measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients
  • Present, garnish and arrange final bowls and products to guests
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment, and dishes
  • Correctly handle and store dry goods, ingredients, and food
  • Properly organize and store products as they are delivered
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Ability to stand in one place for hours at a time
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle tools, such as knife techniques for chopping, slicing, cutting, and dicing
  • Prior experience controlling cash and other receipts by using our Point of Sale (POS) and adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with Pokemoto policies and procedures
  • Execute opening and closing procedures according to checklists and standards
  • Set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment
  • Monitor station inventory levels and replenish as needed
  • Comprehension and organization to follow direct orders and recipes and to correctly prepare bowls and products to the establish standards of the restaurant
  • Be able to frequently stand, reach, bend, sweep, stoop and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
