As an HRBP, you will be responsible for leading workplace investigations, creating workforce planning strategies, and championing HR initiatives that boost retention and organizational effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will have experience in conflict management, labor law, performance management, and building engagement strategies.
You must have excellent verbal and written communication, a high level of professionalism, strong customer service skills, and problem-solving skills.
You must have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent
- 3-5 years of relevant experience including at least 1 year as an HRBP
- Solid leadership, coaching, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to navigate through an organization through questions and relationship building
- Passionate about promoting a positive culture

Work location and hours:
This position is fully remote either in the US or Canada, but please be aware that we only hire in these states (for US based candidates):

This position will work EST/EDT hours, 7.5-8 hour days, within the range of 8am to 5pm, 37.5-40 hours per week. We are closed on Saturday and Sunday.

What we offer:
For candidates in the US, this position ranges from $80-95k USD with up to a 5% bonus based on KPI targets. For candidates in Canada, this position ranges from 93-110k CAD. Placement in this range is dependent on education, experience, and other factors allowable by law.

Primary Job Duties
- Provide support, coaching and advice to management on all aspects of Human Resources
- Create and manage effective workforce planning strategies to help in the recruiting and retainment of employees to ensure organizational effectiveness
- Champion HR initiatives that support organizational goals and reinforce a collaborative, engaged, and high performing culture
- Drive and conduct necessary follow-up to managers to ensure employee performance evaluations are done timely and correctly
- Lead workplace investigations, providing timely updates and documented close out

Secondary Job Duties
- Meet regularly with business leaders and translate their needs to the HR team; participate in projects to build resources and tools for business leaders
- Hold managers accountable to deadlines
- Collaborate with management team to teach and guide managers on best employee relation practices, consult on HR related needs, and strategize with managers to obtain best results
- Provide constructive feedback to managers to help improve the employee experience
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
- Partner with managers to consult on employee actions to include coaching, corrective actions, and separations
- Audit manager decisions and actions to ensure fair and equitable treatment
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and propose ideas
- Foster effective communication and collaboration between countries and cultures within all regions
- Assist in HR project work as required
- Act as backup to other members of the HR Departments
