Principal Function: Provide administrative assistance and support within assigned ministry areas based on TBMB defined processes and systems. Perform clerical and organizational tasks required for the successful accomplishment of ministry assignment, tasks, and events. Facilitate work of various ministry specialists and related volunteers as assigned. Respond to constituent churches in an effective and helpful manner.

- Conduct assigned ministry with “Christ-Like Servant Spirit”, guided by TBMB mission, priorities, strategies, and goals.
- Contribute to all phases of responsibilities to the Mission and Objectives of the organization.
- Exercise discipline to complete tasks and work alone with general supervision.
- Provide support and assistance to assigned group and other groups within the organization, while building and maintaining positive working relationships.
- Travel occasionally to various events and work overtime and irregular hours, as necessary
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate administrative details of ministry events and projects, completing tasks in a timely manner as determined by each event or project.
- Provide administrative assistance to the TBMB Missions Team, specifically the Compassion Ministries Team. Maintain records, update databases, assist with correspondence to churches and other constituents as required.
- Manage certain projects as needed for the TBMB Missions Team, ensuring adherence to schedule and deadlines.
- Serve as primary contact with TBMB Communications and Finance Team on behalf of Missions Team in general and Compassion Missions Team primarily.
- Coordinate responsibilities with Administrative Assistant to the Chief Administrative Officer
- Coordinate administrative details for TN WMU Executive Board, Strategic Leadership Team, and committees.
- Assist TN WMU president, as requested, in meetings, resources, and communication; assist recording secretary in recording minutes and proceedings of meetings.
- Process ongoing communication regarding all ministry needs and personnel as appropriate. Respond to incoming calls and emails and initiate contacts as directed.
- Enter data in TBMB communications and database systems as appropriate concerning calendaring, resources, support needs, securing proper approvals as needed.
- Assist the Endowment Promotion Team, Missionary House Team, and Archives Team.
- Submit check requests, collect, and submit for deposit money from registration and material sales from events, if applicable, budget input and updates.
- Monitor budget accounts as directed.
- Perform all other duties as needed or assigned.
Physical Requirements for Individual in Position
- Continuously sits at desk utilizing computer and phone. Occasionally stands and walks.
- Frequently bends/stoops, pushes/pulls, identify, and distinguish colors.
- Occasionally squats, walks extended distances, reaches above shoulder, kneels, balances, lifts, and carries up to 50 pounds.
