We are hiring a Table Games/Pit Supervisor to work evenings to be responsible for the overall supervision of the Dealers during the assigned shift, and ensuring all guests receive service as outlined in the Hospitality Standards.

Specifically, you:

1.  Monitor staff performance, ensuring adherence to all Casino policies and procedures as well as internal controls.

2.   Maintain constant awareness of table game activity and enforce policy and procedures for all Table Games.

3.  Assist in the development of all departmental programs and special events.

4.  Analyze customer play, cheating, scams, card counters, collusion and unusual or suspicious variations of play.

5. Ensures adequate staffing levels through scheduling.

6. Knowledgeable of local, federal and state gaming regulations as well as Running Creek Casino internal controls, policies and procedures.

7.  Resolve guest complaints promptly and courteously.

        8.  Ensures all guests are satisfied with their experience at the Running Creek Casino.

9. Assists the Table Games Operations Manager with retaining, promoting, performance evaluations,training, and disciplining employees with the concurrence of the General Manager and Human Resources Director.

10. Must adhere to the safety rules and regulations of the Running Creek Casino and of the TableGames Department.

Conditions of employment with the Running Creek Casino include passing a pre- employment drug test, a background investigation to secure a gaming license and successfully completing a three-month introductory period.   Candidates for this position will be required to have dependable transportation available to them.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Certification

Required:

·        At least 21 years of age

·        High School Diploma or GED

·        2 years Table Games experience, with at least 1 year as a Pit Boss or Pit Supervisor

OR

AND

·        Excellent  knowledge of Title 31 compliance

·        Excellent  knowledge of all Table Games

Preferred:

·        Working knowledge of the Gaming Industry and the laws and regulations governing gaming operations

Skills

Required:

·        Strong computer skills with experience in word processing, databases, and spreadsheets(ability to demonstrate proficiency)

·        Strong organizational skills

·        Excellent written communication skills

·        Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • Accurate and detail-oriented

·          Excellent problem solving skills

·        Strong Basic Math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, ability to demonstrate proficiency)

·        Customer service, interpersonal and teamwork skills necessary to maintain quality service delivery

·        Ability to independently manage multiple tasks in a professional manner

·         Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to communicate using written, oral and computer methods. Must be able to stand and exertfast-paced mobility for periods in excess of 8 hours. Must be to stand and walk for long periods of time.Must have a good sense of balance, be able to bend, kneel and occasionally stoop. Must be able to pushand grasps objects. Must have manual dexterity and the ability to use repetitive wrist motions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Office, gaming  floor and convention  center environment including flashing lights, frequent loud noisesand cigarette smoke. Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing to work any hours and/or shifts, as assigned, according to business needs. Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals. High volume direct public contact. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor. Ability to assume position of dealer when needed.
