POSITION SUMMARY

The Villa Breakfast Attendant position will assist with the upkeep of the rooms at the Villa Bed and Breakfast, preparing breakfast for Villa guests, and assisting with any guest needs.

Essential Functions Statements(s)

• Maintenance and care of guest rooms and common areas to the highest standards
• Responsible for breakfast service and cleaning afterward
• Maintain housekeeping closets, cleaning supplies, guest room supplies and amenities
• Address customer needs in a timely manner
• Perform clerk duties such as late check-in, reservations, and guest requests
• Perform other duties as required including assisting other departments as needed

POSITIONS QUALIFICATIONS

• Related experience in housekeeping.
• Excellent customer service skills. 
• TABC and Food Handlers’ Certificate required.
• Flexible work schedule, including working weekends and some evening events.
• Must be detail oriented and able to coordinate various activities simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.  The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.  The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, and crouch.  The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  The employee is frequently required to stand for long periods of time.  The employee is frequently required to climb up and down stairs.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
