MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION
- High school diploma or GED required; an Associate’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related field is preferred.
- Working knowledge of the Gaming Industry and the laws and regulations governing gaming operations
- 2 years’ experience in the Gaming or Banking Industry dealing directly with Title 31
- Previous training and presentation experience preferred
- Casino Accounting or 3 years experience in an accounting or audit position
- Strong computer skills with experience in word processing, databases, and spreadsheets (ability to demonstrate proficiency)
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Accurate and detail-oriented
- Customer service, interpersonal and teamwork skills necessary to maintain quality service delivery
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is essential
- Ability to obtain a Sac and Fox Nation Gaming License
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex of documents, such as procedure manuals, financial reports and legal documents. Some analytical ability is required in order to summarize data for reports and find solutions to various administrative problems. The Title 31 Compliance Officer will be responsible for writing routine reports and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals and work with mathematical concepts. Ability to prepare and interpret graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations.
