Knowledge and Skills:
Experience:Â Two years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education:Â A Bachelor's Degree.
Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or can be of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas
or services to others.
Other Skills:Â Demonstrated knowledge of USCIS regulations for immigrant and non-immigrant populations with working knowledge of policies and procedures regarding visa issuance, SEVIS regulations and reporting, Dept. of Homeland Security regulations and Customs and Immigration Enforcement regulations regarding foreign students in the United States. Exceptional written and oral communications and interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to work effectively with federal agencies, faculty, staff and students from diverse backgrounds and cultural traditions. Ability to treat all members of the college community with dignity and respect demonstrating exclusivity and civility, and engage in constructive conflict resolution. Ability to work effectively under pressure with attention to detail.
