Certified Technician/Mechanic - Tonkin Hillsboro Chevrolet

Tonkin Hillsboro Chevrolet has been growing in leaps and bounds – now is the time to join! We are seeking out Certified Technician/Mechanic to join our service team. Our service department has an abundance of billable hours so there is no shortage of work! Working as our Certified Technician/Mechanic, you would be performing a variety of tasks, but your focus would be diagnostics and repair. The ideal candidate would have prior new car dealership experience with Chevrolet certifications.

Certified Technician/Mechanic Job Responsibilities

• Automotive diagnostics and inspections.
• Conducting inspections, repairing engine failures, repairing mechanical and electrical systems, and replacing parts.
• Comply with manufacturer specifications throughout the repair/servicing process.
• Mentor and help other technicians on the Service Team.

Certified Technician/Mechanic Qualifications

• 1-3 years of automotive repair/diagnostic experience.
• GM (ASEP) Certified.
• Driver’s License.
• Personal Tools.

Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
