Sales Manager Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed monthly goals and performance targets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee daily sales operations, including desking deals and managing CRM performance.
  • Collaborate with finance and inventory teams to ensure smooth deal flow and accurate vehicle availability.
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs to continually refine team performance and dealership results.

Qualifications

Sales Manager Qualifications

  • 3+ years of automotive sales management experience in a dealership setting
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold a team accountable
  • Deep understanding of the automotive sales process, from lead generation to closing deals
  • Proficient in desking deals, managing inventory, and working closely with the F&I department
  • Skilled in CRM platforms and desking tools
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
