Qualifications
- Ability to perform the duties described above.
Education & Experience:
- Licensed to practice Dentistry in California
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical dental experience, including performing general dentistry procedures in a clinical or community health setting.
Skills and Abilities:
- Root Canals, 3rd molar extractions, crown and bridge experience a plus.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
- Proficiency in verbal and written English is required; proficiency in a second language (especially Spanish, Mandarin, or Vietnamese) is desirable.
Competencies:
- Ability to communicate well with people of diverse cultural professional and experiential backgrounds and
- Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Working conditions
The work is primarily conducted in a community clinic dental office environment, with potential exposure to all patient elements, including communicable diseases and bloodborne pathogens. Strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols is required. Language interpretation services are utilized as needed to ensure effective communication with a diverse patient population. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
