At AACI, we are committed to providing culturally sensitive, client-centered, and specialized services to over 2,100 survivors of torture and their families through our CST program. Our approach is multidisciplinary, holistic, and strengths-based, encompassing services such as individual and group psychotherapy, psychiatry, psychological and medical evaluations for political asylum cases, as well as social and legal support.
Join our team as a Behavioral Health Counselor and make a meaningful impact on the lives of Asylee and Refugee populations. You'll be at the forefront, delivering direct behavioral health services in diverse settings like homes, clinics, and field environments. Your role will involve conducting transformative individual and group therapy sessions, alongside providing crucial case management services. Ensuring cultural relevance and sensitivity in service delivery, you'll play a vital role in creating a supportive and inclusive environment for those in need.
Salary Range $73,000.00 - $95,000.00

Duties and responsibilities:
- Provide culturally sensitive, client-centered individual, group, and family counseling and rehabilitation services to asylees and refugees.
- Facilitate referrals to community resources and perform case management services.
- Develop culturally relevant assessment and treatment plans.
- Complete all documentation per Medi-Cal, Santa Clara County and AACI standards within expected deadlines.
- Participate in clinical supervisions, consultations, team meetings, trainings, and on-call after hours rotation.
- Licensed Staff Only Complete and maintain LPS 5150 Authorization certification and provide officer of the day support.
- Complete other related duties and projects as assigned.
