Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Human Resources, the Network Director of Human Resources (ND-HR) is responsible for leading and coordinating human resources operations across all current and future Network affiliates. The ND-HR will guide strategic HR initiatives, oversee day-to-day operations, and foster a culture that supports employee engagement, workforce development, and organizational growth.
As a network-wide leader, the ND-HR spends approximately fifty (50) percent of their time on strategic planning and collaboration, while ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality HR services. The role requires exceptional interpersonal skills, strong leadership, and the ability to align people strategies with organizational priorities.
Essential Functions (Job Duties):
Executive Partnership
- Partner with senior leadership to align human resources strategies with organizational objectives.
- Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making on workforce planning, culture, and retention.
Culture & Change Leadership
- Support culture-building initiatives and organizational change efforts.
- Promote consistent leadership practices and positive employee experiences across the network.
Workforce Planning & Organizational Design
- Lead workforce analytics, compensation strategy, and organizational design to ensure staffing models meet future needs.
- Collaborate on succession planning and role alignment across affiliates.
Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise and mentor a network-wide HR team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
- Provide consistent supervision, coaching, and professional development.
HR Operations
- Oversee HRIS, payroll interface, benefits, recruitment, onboarding, and compensation programs.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are legally compliant and aligned with organizational values.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Finance, Operations, and other leaders to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
- Ensure HR services support operational efficiency and workforce effectiveness.
- Work collaboratively and respectfully with operations and shared services to achieve results.
Administration
- Provide supervisory oversight including performance evaluations, 1:1 meetings, PTO approval, and overall staff development.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Provides strategic leadership and oversight for all HR functions and personnel across the organization’s network.
