SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
• Any combination of training or experience that is equivalent to two (2) years in a related field
• Ability to work effectively with team members and service providers
• Must possess sound organizational skills and be able to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment
• Must have current certification to operate forklifts, scissor lifts and snorkel lifts
• Must have basic computer skills
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English and be capable of facilitating effective communication within the team
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency
• Ability to manage projects as needed and accomplish goals in a timely basis
• Must be able to work with little or no supervision and complete tasks
• Must be neat and organized
• Mechanical aptitude required
• Must have a working knowledge and awareness of safety working practices, safe housekeeping, and accident/incident reporting
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF JOB
• Must be able to exert well-paced ability to both limited spaces (kitchen, warehouse, freezers, etc.) and to reach facilities across Fairplex in a timely manner
• I must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to inspect facilities
• Must be able to drive equipment
• Must be able to lift 50 to 175 lbs. as needed
• Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors, and subordinates
• Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near and color vision and depth perception
• Requires manual dexterity and training to use and operate/demonstrate all necessary office, warehouse, and equipment, such as computers, printers, multi-line touch tone phone, fork trucks, large carts, etc.
• Ability to use 2-way radios and smart phones
• Must possess a valid California Driver’s License and have a clean driving record
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
