Under the direction of the Events Department Senior Event Manager, the coordinator will lead in the operational delivery to locations on-site and off-site.  Establishing core communication between the Event Operations team and customers. Set delivery schedules and coordinate proper staffing for each WO/task that has been administrated by the Senior Event Manager. Directly specialize in all delivery aspects. The coordinator will work with the Facilities department or Parking on the scheduling of labor related to delivery of products to customers and shows. Recover and account for delivered items at the conclusion of each event or WO.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Assists with the operation of all deliveries to exceed customer expectations and supports the needs of the Events Department team in a manner that is safe, efficient, and productive
•    Must utilize golf carts, forklifts, and hand carts as needed to deliver equipment at multiple locations
•    Returns equipment after events, assures that equipment is in good order, and locates the proper storage venue with the inventory coordinator
•    Manage Inventory control of onsite assets for events. 
•    Must have knowledge of typical industry setup standards
•    Cleans and maintains equipment as needed on location
•    Maintains assets (cleans, stocks or replaces)
•    Provides basic cleaning and maintenance of warehouse and office
•    Prepares assets for rental, shipping or delivery
•    Delivers assets to job locations
•    Conducts operation in accordance with company safety procedures on and off-site locations
 

Qualifications

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
•    Any combination of training or experience that is equivalent to two (2) years in a related field
•    Ability to work effectively with team members and service providers
•    Must possess sound organizational skills and be able to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment
•    Must have current certification to operate forklifts, scissor lifts and snorkel lifts
•    Must have basic computer skills
•    Ability to speak, read, write and understand English and be capable of facilitating effective communication within the team
•    Ability to work with a sense of urgency
•    Ability to manage projects as needed and accomplish goals in a timely basis
•    Must be able to work with little or no supervision and complete tasks
•    Must be neat and organized
•    Mechanical aptitude required
•    Must have a working knowledge and awareness of safety working practices, safe housekeeping, and accident/incident reporting


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF JOB
•    Must be able to exert well-paced ability to both limited spaces (kitchen, warehouse, freezers, etc.) and to reach facilities across Fairplex in a timely manner
•    I must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to inspect facilities
•    Must be able to drive equipment
•    Must be able to lift 50 to 175 lbs. as needed
•    Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors, and subordinates
•    Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near and color vision and depth perception
•    Requires manual dexterity and training to use and operate/demonstrate all necessary office, warehouse, and equipment, such as computers, printers, multi-line touch tone phone, fork trucks, large carts, etc.
•    Ability to use 2-way radios and smart phones
•    Must possess a valid California Driver’s License and have a clean driving record
•    Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
