Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our professional team. This position supports Stepping Stone, our addiction services program, and plays a vital role in delivering high-quality care to individuals on their recovery journey.
This is a day-shift role, with regular business hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM primarily, offering a consistent schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Verify patient information by interviewing patient; review and/or record medical history; take vital signs; identify any active complaints.
- Support medical staff by assisting during examinations; dispose of contaminated supplies; administer medication as directed; authorize drug refills as directed; telephone prescriptions to pharmacies.
- Maintain stock of medical supplies.
- Dispense and administer medication.
- Educate patients by providing information and instructions concerning their medication, infectious diseases, wellness and safety, answer questions.
- Monitor patient compliance to medication system and response to medication.
- Screen patients for physical health needs and make referrals as necessary.
- Patient Advocate/Liaison: Serve as a professional nursing link between patient and physician, pharmacist, Community Resource Specialist and other care providers.
- Facilitate referrals to primary care physicians, dentists, and other specialty practices as indicated.
- Provide needed therapeutic interventions and protection for individuals who are in crisis.
- Administer TB tests, interprets results, and makes any related referrals.
- Serves as a professional nursing link between patient and physician, pharmacist, case manager, therapist, and other care providers.
- Provide emergency interventions as directed.
