The Mechanical Contracting Scheduler coordinates and manages the schedules for the Piping Crew, Ductwork Crew, and Electrical Crew, ensuring efficient and timely project execution. The Scheduler communicates crew schedules clearly and promptly to Project Managers and Field Superintendents, aligning assignments with job site requirements.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Â Â None
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains schedule board that relevant team members can access, displaying crew assignments and job site timelines.
- Monitors crew availability, tracks job progress, and resolves scheduling conflicts proactively to keep projects on track.
- Collaborates with Project Managers and Field Superintendents to adjust schedules as needed based on project demands or unexpected challenges.
- Maintains accurate records of schedules, crew assignments, and communications for reporting and accountability.
- Leverages strong organizational and communication skills to support seamless coordination between crews and Project Managers, driving project success.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in scheduling, logistics, or project coordination, ideally in construction, HVAC, or a related field.
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills, managing multiple schedules and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in managing dashboards or scheduling tools
- Communicates clearly and effectively with Project Managers and other stakeholders.
- Works collaboratively with diverse teams and maintains a solutions-oriented approach to scheduling challenges.
- Familiarity with HVAC or construction industry processes (preferred but not required).
- Ideally bilingual in English and Spanish, though this is not mandatory.
- Ability to pass drug screening
- Ability to prove US employment eligibility
- Must possess a valid driver’s license

 This position works in a typical office environment with occasional visits to job sites, which include outdoor work and work in mechanical/equipment rooms. During the job site visits, the associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
