Description

As a hotel breakfast host/attendant, you'll be responsible for preparing and serving breakfast, maintaining a clean and organized dining area, greeting guests, and ensuring a positive breakfast experience, while adhering to hotel standards and health regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and Service:
    • Set up and break down the breakfast buffet or serving area.
    • Ensure food and beverage stations are well-stocked and replenished throughout the breakfast service. 
    • Prepare and serve breakfast items, including coffee, tea, and other beverages. 
    • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations. 
    • Clear and reset tables efficiently and courteously. 
    • Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food handling and storage. 
  • Guest Interaction: 
    • Greet guests warmly and provide a positive and welcoming atmosphere. 
    • Answer guest questions about breakfast menu items and dietary restrictions. 
    • Assist guests with seating and ensure a smooth and efficient breakfast experience. 
    • Respond to guest needs and special requests in a timely and professional manner. 
  • Inventory and Stock Management: 
    • Monitor and replenish food and beverage items to ensure a continuous and attractive presentation. 
    • Maintain accurate inventory records of breakfast supplies. 
    • Order and restock supplies as needed. 
    • Cleaning and Maintenance: 
    • Clean and sanitize the breakfast area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations. 
    • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly. 
    • Clean and store equipment according to hotel standards. 
  • Other Duties: 
    • Assist with other tasks as assigned by management. 
    • Maintain a professional and positive attitude. 
    • Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
