MANUAL RADIAL DRILL OPERATOR

Cust-O-Fab, a leader in the design and manufacturing of shell and tube heat exchangers, vessels, towers, and other heat transfer components, in the petrochemical industry for 50 years is currently seeking a Manual Radial Drill Operator in our Sand Springs location.

The Manual Radial Drill Operator is responsible for setting up and operating Manual Radial Drills:

• Wear proper PPE at all times on shop floor and follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Read prints for required specifications and dimensions
• Set up parts and make layouts according to print for specifications
• Measure parts using different measuring tools (tape measure, dial calipers, dial indicators, micrometers)
• Operate drive gun to remove tube stubs in rework parts
• Remove slag using grinders
• Operate overhead cranes on daily basis to load machines with parts
• Cut supports to lengths needed using a hot saw
• Occasionally operate forklifts
• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned, which may include performing basic tasks when such a need arises

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Must be a highly safety-oriented individual 
• 2 years of Manual Radial Drill experience required
• 1 year of Manufacturing experience required
• Knowledge of how to properly use radial drills to drill and tap a variety of hole sizes in various types of metals while holding a close tolerance
• Problem solving capabilities
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work overtime
