Esthetician

Job Summary:

The Esthetician is responsible for providing a variety of facial and body treatments designed to increase, improve, or maintain skin and health appearance.  The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering the highest quality of service and maintaining professional standards.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Advise members on appropriate treatments based on their individual skincare needs and goals.
• Perform high-quality facial treatments designed to address specific skincare needs.
• Provide hair removal services through waxing and exfoliation techniques.
• Perform body masks, wraps, and sugar/salt scrubs to enhance skin health and appearance.
• Educate members on available spa therapies, services, and product usage to improve skin care routines.
• Keep confidential client notes and reports, tracking treatment progress and preferences.
• Promote spa programs, packages, and upgrades to maximize revenue and client satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients to ensure repeat business, client satisfaction, and referrals.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of spa experience.
• Valid Michigan Esthetician license.
• Proficient in performing various esthetic treatments such as waxing, dermaplaning, and other facial and body services.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for helping others.
• Ability to stand, bend, sit for extended periods and to lift 50 pounds.
• Adhere to all current regulations and laws related to an Esthetician.
• Must handle sensitive client information with confidentiality.
• Flexible part-time hours, including evenings and weekends depending on the needs of the business.
