The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for quantitative and qualitative analysis of all operational aspects of Airshare, including annual budgeting and forecasting, monthly reporting, development of key business metrics, and identifying initiatives to drive profitability. The incumbent will empower company leaders to make financially sound decisions and support the VP of Accounting & Administration, Senior Management, and the Board of Directors. This position will require you to work in the CHQ office located in Overland Park, KS. This is not a remote or hybrid role. You will have one direct report.Â

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Direct and manage all aspects of financial validation, reconciliation and planning, and analysis activities Â
- Partner with Airshare leadership to drive an efficient, effective, and comprehensive process for developing financial plans and analysis that link to strategic objectivesÂ
- Develop annual budgets and forecasts and provide monthly updates and periodic reviews with leadership and department managersÂ
- Help form the development of strategic plans for our core business and support the integration of acquisition targets that support these strategiesÂ
- Create sophisticated short- and long-term financial models that provide financial analysis and decision support to senior leadership on key business decisions (purchase new Aircraft, New Operational Centers, M&A)Â
- Develop and provide ad-hoc reports requested by the different departments (from Finance Divisions, Operations, or central departments) to enable the manager’s department to take appropriate actionsÂ
- Drive a strong understanding of the key priorities and activities across all departmentsÂ
- Reporting and relationship support with banking group – including reporting requirements and analysis, and periodic bank renewal supportÂ
- Review, analyze, and compare monthly and quarterly operating department financial results and key performance indicators against plan and other internal benchmarksÂ
- Lead and support ad hoc strategic analyses, developing key insights that support business initiativesÂ
- Leverage systems and technology to increase the efficiency, effectiveness, and automation of financial management; develop and implement dashboard reports to assist with creating new financial models as required to expand on management of information and tracking of key KPIs, and assist with data validation efforts across multiple technology platforms Â
- Research and evaluation of acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestiture opportunities, execution of transactions including valuation and due diligence, and the development of deal summaries for Senior Management and the Board of DirectorsÂ
