Job description:

  • Preparation of Gift, Estate and Trust tax returns
  • Preparation of federal and state quarterly estimated tax payments
  • Assist in tax planning for trust and individual income taxes\
  • Assist in researching estate, gift, and trust related issues
  • Handle multiple engagements at one time and meet deadlines
  • Ask appropriate questions when faced with difficulties
  • Produce deliverables that are clear, concise, thorough and of professional quality
  • Provide guidance and feedback to staff and interns
  • Facilitate and partake in office trainings and mentorship program
  • Dedicated to meeting and exceeding the expectations and requirements of clients

 

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

  • 3 or more years of experience in public accounting
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting or Tax
  • CPA certification obtained or in progress, JD
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized and proactive
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-service focus
  • Strong computer skills; knowledge of ProSystem Tax and Engagement a plus
  • Technical skills reflective of experience
  • An ability to work within a team framework and comfortable reporting to multiple people
