Job Purpose:
- The Mobile Clinic Driver at Behavioral Health Services Inc. is responsible for safely operating and maintaining the mobile clinic vehicle to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. This role is critical in facilitating access to healthcare services by transporting the mobile clinic to various community locations, thereby supporting the organization's mission to provide comprehensive behavioral health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive and operate the mobile clinic vehicle to various designated locations as per the schedule.
- Ensure the mobile clinic is set up and ready for operation upon arrival at each site.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, including monitoring fuel levels, oil, and other essential fluids.
- Coordinate with healthcare staff to ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are loaded and secured for transit.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the mobile clinic at each location, ensuring all equipment is handled with care.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or issues encountered during transit.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers, patients, and other road users.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare staff and patients to provide a positive and supportive environment.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Support the healthcare team in non-driving duties as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations.
