Required Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree required in History, American Government/Political Science, Civics, Public History, or a closely related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in large-scale program development, implementation, and management in higher education.
- At least two (2) years of experience planning and executing academic or public educational programming.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience working with state or federally funded programs, including compliance and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience in event planning, community partnerships, staff supervision, budget management, and program evaluation.
- Knowledge of higher education academic structures, civic engagement initiatives, and public history programming.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational ability, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and data tracking systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with K–12 partnerships or teacher professional development programs.
- Familiarity with Department of Education grant management and reporting systems.
- Knowledge of Thomas Paine, the American founding era, or civic education pedagogy.

- This is a grant-funded position for a three-year term contingent upon continued funding. Competitive salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
