Foreman Drilling Operations

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Drilling Foreman to lead field operations for horizontal drilling projects. The Foreman will oversee daily drilling activities, manage equipment and crew, ensure safety compliance, and maintain accurate records. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, operates independently, and thrives in a hands-on, outdoor environment. 

• Oversee all aspects of Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) crew on a daily basis. 

• Ensure all company paperwork is completed at the end of each workday. 

• Cover daily safety topics. 

• Ensure operators, locators, and laborers understand their roles and responsibilities. 

• Train new operators and laborers. 

• Verify locates and all job set up details for each bore shot. 

• Class A CDL. 

• Minimum 3 years of HDD crew experience. 

• Excellent communications skills. 

• Attention to detail. 

• Accurately locate directional drill head and execute bore paths. 

• Record bore shots electronically and prepare as built documentation. 

• Ensure utilities are properly located, and safe excavation practices are followed. 

• Communicate effectively with customers, inspectors, and governing authorities. 

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design maps. 

• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and general safety standards. 

• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and other pre-employment screenings.

• Experience operating drilling rigs preferred. 

• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. 

• We are looking for someone who is excited and proud of the work they do. 

• Ability to self-start in the morning and operate with minimal oversight. 

• Good mechanical skills 

• High School Diploma or GED
