This position will be a corporate resource reporting directly to our Director of Product Development working onsite with our teams in Delavan, WI and New Berlin, WI.

Key Responsibilities:
Training & Knowledge Transfer
- Train-the-Trainer Program:Â Develop and execute structured training for designated trainers at each plant to ensure consistent application of process knowledge and best practices.
- Proficient in understanding and reading machine prints and mold prints.
- General understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
New Product & Process Development
- New Product Launches:Â Establish, validate, and optimize robust molding processes for new product introductions to ensure repeatability and efficiency from the start.
- Resin & Material Qualification:
- Lead qualification efforts for new resins.
- Act as the subject matter expert on recycled resins, bio-materials, fillers, and additives.
- Sustainability & Innovation:Â Integrate sustainable materials and manufacturing practices into production operations to support environmental and business goals.
Equipment & Process Validation
- Equipment Re-Qualifications:Â Support qualification and re-validation of new or modified molding machines, tools, and auxiliary systems.
- Process Auditing:Â Conduct detailed audits of existing molding processes to ensure compliance, efficiency, and alignment with best practices and standards.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Advanced Troubleshooting:Â Serve as the escalation point for complex processing challenges, delivering expert analysis and resolution strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Resolve ongoing or recurring technical issues impacting quality or productivity.
Regulatory Compliance & Work Standards
- Ensure full compliance with GMP, Food Safety, and Food Quality standards as required by internal policies, customer requirements, or regulatory bodies.
- Maintain flexibility to work a minimum of 45 hours per week and support operational needs across shifts when required.
- Display a proactive and collaborative mindset; always willing to support other teams with open tasks and cross-functional projects.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related technical field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in injection molding, blow molding, or plastic processing roles.
- Experience with molding machine setup, process development, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Proven record of supporting new product introductions and resin/material qualifications.
- Proven experience with process development, validation, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in understanding and reading machine prints and mold prints.
- General understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
- Familiarity with CAD software is advantageous but not required.
- Cross-functional collaboration with operations, quality, and other support teams.
- Effective training, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to travel to various plant sites as needed.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and lift/carry up to 30 to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to use fingers, hands, and arms for regular tasks.
- Must be able to climb steps, have good hand-eye coordination, and bend/squat.
- Must be able to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment.
- Must be able to operate effectively in temperatures ranging from 60 to 110°F.
- Must be capable of visually detecting defects, depth, colors, variances, and see objects.
