Description

  • Conducts him or herself in accordance with all Department of Business and Professional Regulation standards and The Big Easy Casino policies and procedures.
  • Directs and delegates responsibilities to security officers.
  • Communicates all policy changes, memorandums, and special events on a daily basis.
  • Patrols gaming areas and grounds to establish security presence and reports all unusual situations and suspicious persons.
  • Completes thorough documentation of all medical calls.
  • Completes required checklists and inspection of assets in facility.
  • Provides customer service to ensure positive guest experiences.
  • Prepares detailed incident reports in a clear and precise manner.
  • Responsible for issuing employee Access Badges.
  • Prepares fingerprint cards for The Big Easy Casino Employees.
  • Hands down written disciplinary warnings when warranted.
  • Conducts roll call training on a daily basis.
  • Notifies Security Director of all incidents which occur on each shift on a daily basis.
  • All other duties assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma.
  • At least 2+ years of previous security experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational license.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
  • Must be a team player and able to lead by example.
  • Must be able to stand for long durations of time.
  • Must be able to respond calmly to emergency situations.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to include nights weekends and holidays.
