Student Worker - SoE Lab Assistant

FIRST STEP: MEET WITH FINANCIAL AID TO SEE IF ELIGIBLE 

Primary Duties:

Responsibilities may vary daily with a goal of being known to the student a week in advance.

• Faculty Support as needed
  • For example, helping to setup labs, fabricating demos, and assist faculty in a lab based class
• Improvement projects for the School of Engineering as directed
  • For example, collaborating with faculty to improve lab layouts, lab procedures, or utilization
• Specific tasks as requested
• Abide by all Dunwoody College of Technology policies

• Must be enrolled at Dunwoody College of Technology within the School of Engineering and registered for at least 12 credit hours
• Must maintain a 3.0 GPA minimum
• Must be in good standing within the School of Engineering
• Must work an agreed upon schedule after or around classes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to initiate communications with faculty and follow up as required
• Ability to work independently and responsibly with minimal supervision
• Maintains a professional demeanor with Students, Faculty, and Staff
