Program Manager

Summary

The Program Manager ensures successful business operations by prioritizing safety, project execution, contractual obligations, and financial performance to deliver optimal services to customers while maintaining profitability.

Essential Functions

• Manage customer contracts by ensuring compliance, accurate billing, and strong customer relationships.
• Collaborate with the Business Unit Director to improve financial performance, analyze reports, and identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Provide direction to Lead Project Managers, ensure customer requirements are understood, remove project management obstacles, and support development planning and execution.
• Cultivate and strengthen customer relationships, both new and existing.
• Establish and lead the Constructability team, develop processes and tools, align capabilities with customer needs, and provide training.
• Ensure accurate capture of required hours and alignment with business unit strategy.
• Provide insights on project margins and risks to executive leadership for successful job proposal submissions.
• Attend and conduct weekly team huddles with leadership, peers, and direct reports.
• Attend weekly planning meetings for Business Unit groups.
• Participate in internal and customer project update calls.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree specializing in business administration, construction management or another relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of project/program management experience or a combination of relevant experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite of products; specifically, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to effectively prioritize, manage, and execute tasks on competing projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various parties.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail, ensure precision and accuracy in all tasks and deliverables.
• Ability to identify issues and utilize effective problem-solving skills to design solutions.
• Effective time management skills, optimize productivity and meet project deadlines.
• Ability to apply critical thinking skills to analyze complex problems, break them down into manageable components, and formulate effective solutions.
• Ability to remain agile in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
