POSITION DESCRIPTION
BARTENDER
BASIC FUNCTION
- Provide alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
- Reports to: Food & Beverage Supervisor
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare drinks for customers

Prepare drink orders for servers

Balance sales to POS report at end of shift

Observe customers for alcohol consumption

Set up bar area
-
Clean bar area
-
Cut fruits for drinks
-
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
- No formal education required
- Prefer bartending experience
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
- Able to mix and create alcoholic drinks
- Able to communicate with customers and co-workers
- Ability to determine when to “cut-off” patrons who consume too much alcohol
MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Standing for long periods of time
