Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. At least three (3) years of hospice experience, and one (1) to two (2) years of recent experience in nurse education preferred.

Required:Â Current RN licensure in Minnesota and ability to obtain additional state licensures as required.

CHPN certified or ability to obtain.

Excellent observation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, critical thinking skills, basic math skills; nursing skills per competency checklist.

Prolonged or considerable walking or standing. Able to lift, position and/or transfer patients. Able to lift supplies and equipment. Considerable reaching, stooping bending, kneeling and/or crouching. Visual acuity and hearing to perform required nursing skills.

Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order.

Able to organize educational programs and orchestrate delivery.

Strong public speaking skills.

Capable of learning and training staff in EMR
The salary range for this role is $82,000-$90,000/annually.  An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: geographic location, relevant education, applicable certifications, depth of experience, and special skillsets. The total compensation package for this position may also include the opportunity to participate in employee benefits including our medical/dental/vision/pet insurance, disability and life insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) retirement plans, subject to applicable plan terms, and/or eligibility for other compensation.
