POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree or advanced degree in human services, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year - experience in a health care setting. Hospice and/or volunteer experience preferred.
- Ability to supervise, coordinate, and evaluate volunteer services.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with interdisciplinary team
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks, and interruptions
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Understands hospice philosophy.
- Ability to organize and develop volunteer hospice personnel for both patient and organizational needs.
- Ability to manage and direct Volunteer Coordinators
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state or organization requirements and is in good working order.Â
The salary range for this role is $72,000 - $85,000/annually.  An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: geographic location, relevant education, applicable certifications, depth of experience, and special skillsets. The total compensation package for this position may also include the opportunity to participate in employee benefits including our medical/dental/vision/pet insurance, disability and life insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) retirement plans, subject to applicable plan terms, and/or eligibility for other compensation.
