Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Preferred Education: CPA license or Master’s degree in Accounting is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on accounting experience at a company whose financial statements are prepared and audited for GAAP compliance.
- Preferred Experience: Foundation in public accounting is highly desirable; experience in a private equity-backed company is a significant advantage.
- GAAP Expertise: Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements.
- ERP Proficiency: Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system; NetSuite proficiency is strongly preferred.
- Excel Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including extensive experience with VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables for data analysis and reporting.
- Integrity & Dependability: High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to accuracy.
