We are currently seeking a Customer Logistics Specialist to join our team on a fixed term maternity cover contract. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for problem-solving, exceptional customer service skills, and strong attention to detail.Â
The Role
As a Customer Logistics Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for researchers and customers requiring support with shipping and logistics needs. You’ll play a key role in preventing and resolving logistical issues, ensuring an excellent customer experience, while contributing to continuous improvements across our supply chain operations.Â
This is a hands-on role, requiring proactive communication, problem-solving, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This is a highly collaborative and communicative role with customers, internal teams, and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with multiple internal teams and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and information sharing.
- Provide responsive and professional customer support for all Transnetyx products via telephone and email.
- Investigate and resolve shipping queries while accurately documenting customer concerns using CRM and Microsoft tools.
- Communicate daily with customers regarding shipping matters, order queries, and delivery updates.
- Manage delayed or lost shipments by liaising with carriers, customers, and sales representatives to reach timely resolutions.
- Monitor and optimise logistics processes through reporting and analysis.
- Troubleshoot technical requests and escalate issues where necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of shipping systems and processes to provide accurate, proactive solutions.
- Contribute to departmental goals including client satisfaction and performance metrics.
